4th September, 2023: Newspaper Carrier Day.
Normally?
I’d be officially telling you it’s officially Monday.
In an officially official kind of way.
With … you know … officially sprinkles.
So I thought I’d over do it, today.
Then move on …
As I’ve seen news.
It’s officially the case that — in an interview with The Advocate — 15th Doctor actor, Ncuti Gatwa, has outed himself.
Good for him.
I can only hope he doesn’t get a negative reaction, as a result!
I’m very aware the interview doesn’t answer the important question.
Or, at least, the important one from where I’m sitting?
The important question … is “Is Ncuti left handed?”
~≈⚖️≈~
Oh … you’ll’ve possibly realised I’m overweight.
Indeed, I’m off to a weight management meeting, this morning.
So?
Given I was one person initially prescribed Ozempic — the diabetes drug that’s helpful in reducing weight — until a shortage meant switching to another medication called Trulicity.
Which is helping my blood sugars: but, seemingly, not as good as a weight loss promoter.
At least, the rate of loss — for me — seems to have slowed.
It’s still heading down: just more slowly than it did on Ozempic.
Given that … ?
I was interested to hear that Wegovy is to be made available on the NHS: although in limited amounts.
Given its active ingredient is Semaglutide, something Wegovy shares with Ozempic?
Means I’ll have to ask my GP about it.
Let’s move on, shall we?
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Mum*, Olga† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with everyone scoring five out of five.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

And some music …
Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.
Decisions about scores are final.
Thank you for coming: have a good day.
* Hello, Mum!
† I can imagine Rory would agree, there, Olga. The job’s getting tougher, in that regard. Quite what Spitting Image would’ve made of Liz Truss as PM, though … ? I don’t know!
The original Good Omens is worth a watch, I think. This new series is worth a watch, too: and you don’t need to have seen to first one to follow the second.
‡ Oh, that they do, Debbi, that they do! Oh … did you see the news about Ncuti … ?

I'll keep it in mind. I hope the news about the medication helps and the GP can source some, although between them announcing something and it happening there can be a long gap. Oh, and I hope today's meeting went well.
1 1833
2 Barney Flatery
3 1985
4 Cleveland Indians
5 India
I did. Good for him. Don't see why anyone would object, you know? :)

You know, it's the first I've heard of this day. So ...
Also, turns out there aren't many paper boys left. What with the internet and big business, etc., etc.
