It’s officially official: I’ve scraped together enough money to buy … 

A pot!

Yes, I know that’s trivial: but it don’t half help with cooking vegetables.   I can microwave one lot, while boiling the others.

Plus, of course, I couldn’t see the type I wanted in Sainsbury’s.

Basically?

It’s a saucepan: with two pouring spouts, one on each side of the pot.

I’m fussy about this sort of thing: because I’m left handed.

A pan with two spouts, like an electric kettle with see-through measures on both sides?

Is a must-have.

The Invisible Man (2020) — A Review

It has to be said, it’s not often I watch a movie, these days.

Why?

I wish I knew for sure.

The length of some films, though?

Is something I find intimidating.

I’d not be sitting through episodes of Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings, again.

Three hours a pop is a bit much.

Perils of ageing, I think.

At any rate … ?

I’ve seen a movie: the 2020, Leigh Whannell directed, Elisabeth Moss film, The Invisible Man.

Which is just over two hours long, in case you wondered.

Hmmmm …

I just don’t know why the video, rather than just the song, is banging it’s way through my head, this morning!

Something I noticed on the news, yesterday?

Apparently, Amazon’s UK, Canadian, French, German and Indian branches have bee put on the US’s government’s Notorious Markets register: as they supply counterfeit goods*.

It doesn’t black list them … just highlights them.

Amazon, itself?   Says the move’s political.

I can appreciate that, I think.   Jeff Bezos, Amazon’s founder and owner, also owns the Washington Post, which is famously critical of President Trump.

And is a confirmed Democrat.

I can’t help but think that’s a bit of a petty move from the Trump administration.

And … ?   As soon as I get some cash, I’m going to make sure I buy from the Canadian branch of Amazon.

Just to tick off Donald.
