I’ve got Radio 4’s Today programme on in the background, and, as ever, the show’s taken it’s usual pause for a news bulletin.
I’ve said it before and I’ll probably say it again, the way they do it is very civilised.
But one bit that’s floated past me?
Is the ongoing talks about Europe’s economic crisis.
Seemingly, President Sarkozy and Chancellor Merkel are in talks about potentially changing some of the treaties that govern the EU’s functioning.
That’s going to play well in part’s of the UK: some members of Britain’s Conservative party habitually spit whenever the EU get’s a mention.
And think we REALLY shouldn’t’ve given up the Empire.
