The Daily Teaser — 7-6-2012

Hmmm …

You know, I KNOW that the Middle east is a bit … incendiary … at the moment.

You don’t need me to tell you that.

But the news in, today, that Syria has seen another massacre — in the villages of Qubair and Maarsaf — is …

Well, I’d’ve called it disturbing.

But I’ve a funny idea that the Houla massacre, only a few days ago, now … ?

Only marks the start of Syria going seriously downhill.

Hmmm …

Let’s get moving on, shall we … ?

Before I depress you and me even further with the news about Ray Bradbury …

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Debbi putting in her answers: and, along with agreeing we should mention a certain post to Karen Chilvers*, AND suggesting we mention this blog to her as well, and — in the middle of all this — also bagging 5 out of 6.

Let’s see how she — and you — do with today’s questions, shall we?   Here they are, along with the ‘How To’, License and Video …

Enjoy those, everyone: as it’s his birthday, let’s have a tune from the man formerly known as the artist formerly known as Prince …

Oh, and as Debbi’s given her a mention, let’s have more Grace Jonesª …

*        Karen, I’ve left it on your FB wall.

ª        Oh, Debbi, you DO know she had Sly and Robbie working as her rhythm section at the time: they of Boops fame … ?   The pair of them were, and still are, one of the best on the planet.   They got brought in by her producer: former Buggle, and Art of Noise/ZTT lynchpin Trevor Horn … ?   Amazing what I can remember form the 80s … !
