The Daily Teaser — 12-10-2012

Blimey, THAT’S a result … !

I’ll be frank, I’ve had a bit of extra money from the local Benefits Office: basically, where they suspended my benefit payments for a fortnight, and I had to go through the whole lengthy appeals process.

They found in my favour, thankfully.

That’s a good thing.

I can now buy a new pair of trousers, and a train ticket for Tuesday.

Believe it or not, I’ve got an interview at the Liverpool branch of Maplins.

Here’s hoping* … !

Let’s get moving on, shall we … ?

Yes, let’s … !

I’ll leave you with this quote from newsreader, Angela Rippon …
“I am usually very careful about what I wear when I appear on television; I restrict to wearing colours which don't distract the viewer and so therefore I have two wardrobes at home, one for home and the other for work. I'm not employed to be a shambles”
Angela Rippon, born 12th October, 1944.
And with THIS tune from Status Quo: after all, it is Rick Parfitt’s birthday …

*        Actually … I think I should ALSO say something similar to my by now ex-neighbours, Claire and Andy and their family: here’s hoping the new house goes well, folks!

º        Oh, definitely, Debbi … !   (I still want one of those Cubes, though: it’ll look good in the collectionª … )
