The Daily Teaser — 22-9-2015

Hmmm …

You know I like a film, occasionally, don’t you?

And that, when I watch them, I tend to write about them?

Well, I caught one, last night: the 2014 feature, Hellmouth.

Interesting looking little film, Hellmouth: with a nice job of work done Stephen McHattie in the lead role.

But, my WORD … !

It could have done with having one plot-line all the way through!

~≈Â≈~

But let’s get a move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw both Olga* and Debbi† putting in their answers: with both scoring ten out of ten.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How ToLicense and video

I’ll leave you with this thought …
“I like sex.   I’ve had feedback but men will feed you back anything, won’t they?”

Fay Weldon, born 22nd September, 1931.
And this tune …

Enjoy your day …

*          You know, Olga, it always amazes me how rapidly things change.   When I was a teenager?   The ZX Spectrum was the UK’s most popular home computer, and the UK had three TV stations.   Now I’m in my forties?   My old phone‡ is more powerful than a Spectrum, and there’s TV stations coming out of the woodwork!   (The Emmys were held recently.   From what I could gather, it’s the first time internet based services had tons of entries, and were walking away with the big awards.)

†        Why thank you, Debbi!   But I’m not a tech wizard: I just know how to use handy software!   (The real wizard … ?   Was whoever worked out how to rip optical discs in the first place.   Eric Petit’s the chap who invented HandBrake: although he’s not been heard from for about nine years.   Now I’ve said that to you and Olga, Debbi: why do I get the feeling I’ve hit the “There’s a Story” button?)

‡        My old phone is the one I no longer use: it’s dead, and sitting on top of my microwave.   It’s still a lot better, technically, than a ZX Spectrum.

Q1) National Geographic
Q2) Iraq and Iran
Q3) The Archers
Q4) A burka
Q5) Bulgaria
Indeed your comment was very intriguing. And I've thought about the old computers as well, although I didn't acquire one until the late 1990s. I remember how long it took to load a very simple game in the old computers. And connecting to internet...
