Blimey …
It’s the proverbial Big Day: of the US general election.
One that — from what I’ve understood — is looking like a close run thing.
Personally … ?
I can’t help but think it’s going to be fifty/fifty.
And either way … ?
It’ll be interesting to see the result.

On other fronts … ?
On other fronts, can I ask you to suggest a horror film?
I’m hoping an old friend will be able to look in during my time off: to catch a movie with me.
Who knows WHERE that’ll end up: it’d be interesting to see if we can come up with something … !

But let’s move on.
Yesterday’s teaser saw Olga* and Debbi† putting in her answers: with both scoring five out of five.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s themed questions, shall we?
Q1) 8th November 2016, sees the USA vote for its new President. Name either of the two main candidates.
Q2) Which of the two is embroiled in a scandal about their emails?
Q3) Which is facing several serious sexual allegations?
Q4) The President is ultimately voted in by an electoral college. How many electoral college votes will a candidate need, to be elected?
Q5) Finally … who — at the time of this year’s election — is the current President of the United States?
Here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …
Q1) 7th November, 1970, saw the birth of singer-songwriter, Neil Hannon. Hannon was the frontman for which band?
Q2) 7th November, 1989, saw ministers of a communist country resign en-mass. WHICH communist country: East Germany, Poland or Bulgaria?
Q3) Who became the first First Lady elected as a Senator: on 7th November, 2000?
Q4) The London Gazette was first published: on 7th November, 1665. As what?A4) The Oxford Gazette. (It’s still in circulation.)
Q5) Finally … WXYC made the first of what kind of broadcast on 7th November, 1994: internet TV, internet radio or an internet movie?
I’ll leave you with this thought …
“Democracy is so overrated.”Frank Underwood, House of Cards Season One.
And these songs …
Have a good day.
* Any suggestions on the movie front, Olga … ?
† Sounds about right, Debbi! (Any ideas of a movie, Debbi?)

It's difficult to recommend when I don't know what you've watched. I enjoyed 'Don't Breathe' but not sure if it will be available (and it's scary rather than horror, horror). I also watched Crimson Peak that is very beautiful, although again perhaps not that horrific...
Probably the American elections are the scariest thing one can watch tonight.
Horror movies? Psycho is one of my favorites! :)
It's an oldie, but a goodie.
1. Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump (yeck!)
2. Hillary Clinton
3. Donald Trump
4. 270
