*        I’ve got a TV that allows me to record stuff: to a USB stick.   Not much point to that, in these days of smart TV sets.   However, given the existence of software like HandBrake, and various free video editing software like MPEG Streamclip, means that I’ve not spent a penny Dr Who for the past decade.

†        I know I’m looking forward to it, Debbi: I was rather impressed with Rogue One.   Especially Darth Vader’s bits!


‡        The video shows us how the Art of Noise deconstructed music as an art form: both symbolically, physically and with technology.   And that they didn’t like pianos …
