Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 30-8-2017

It’s a god-awful, small, affair …

To the girl with the mousey hair …

Yep, you’re right …

I’ve got up this morning, happily made a pot of tea, cleaned my had the usual medication …

And realised someone had put an earworm on me.

I really couldn’t tell you if there’s Life on Mars.

Really, I couldn’t.

But I can say there’s a song about it …

Let’s move on, shall we?

John Peel, 30 August 1939 – 25 October 2004.
Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Have a nice day …

*        I don’t know if extra door security could’ve helped, Olga‡.   As Debbi will possibly remember, there’s two bars on that stretch of road, practically opposite each other.   It’s very easy for the drunk youngsters in Rumours to start an argument with the older drunks, over the road in Murphy’s.   Just by yelling.   I doubt the bouncers could do much about trouble from the other pub … A police car going down the road, at the right time … ?

†        Oh, I don’t know, Debbi, he looked very somber and respectful when he visited Houston.   I’d imagine that’s a pleasant change!

‡        Yeah, 1747: James Hunt aged well … … … … … … … …

I read this article about schizophrenia this morning and as I knew we'd talked about the subject a few times, I thought you might be interesting. I like their approach (and it sounds right to me, from my clinical experience).
