Hmmm … 

That seemed to go well enough.

I’m up nice and early, today: as I’m due to be in at nine.

And did what I usually do, when it’s dark.

Tried turning the kitchen light on.

Which didn’t come on.

First thing I though?   Was I needed another dratted neon tube.

Turns out I was wrong, there.

When I managed to find my step ladder, to have a look?

Turns out the fitting had come loose: and just needed tightening.

Quite what happened there, I don’t know: but I think I need to book a repair …

*        Hmmm … You might just need to tinker with the settings on the Firestick, Olga: or the TV.   Could just be the sound on that episode’s bad, though … I do know I’ve managed to catch a couple of trailers for Lore: it looks rather good!   Oh … you’re not in the way of Ex-Hurricane Ophelia, are you?   Might pay you to check the predictions.   (I know there were a lot of trees down, in the ’87 Storm: I was still living at the family home, back then: and walking to work, you’d see tons of trees down!)

†        It was the song that always got me, Debbi.   Point of fact, the song’s from an EP that was huge, when I was younger: the better known song was Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps: with the best guitar riff going!   (Oh, apparently?   I Walked with a Zombie is supposed to be based on Jane Eyre.   Go figure!)
