Hmmm …
I think — think — I may have a Wait on my hands.
Really.
I‘ve had a few friends, recently, comment.
To the point where one old friend — and neighbour — mention I’d been putting on weight.
True.
I’m having trouble finding new trousers, I know that.
I think I might just have to sign up for another weigh loss group.
I know they’re helpful: and usually, the NHS sponsored ones are free to join/attend.
The only problem, there, of course?
Is simply the next available GP‘s appointment?
Is November … !
Oy vey …

Let’s move on, shall we?
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga* and Debbi† putting in their answers: with both scoring five out of five.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?
Q1) 9th October saw the staging of the first Sumo tournament held outside Japan. In which year?
Q2) More to the point, where was it held: Wembley Arena, the O2 or the Royal Albert Hall?
Q3) Sumo is a kind of what: wrestling, boxing or dancing?
Q4) The ring Sumo is performed in, is called what, in Japanese?
Q5) Finally … the highest ranking sumo practitioners, the grand champions, are called what?
Here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …
Q1) 8th October, 1967, saw who captured in Bolivia?A1) Che Guevara.
Q2) The Franklin National Bank collapsed: on 8th October, 1974. The collapse was the (then) largest bank collapse in which country: China, the USA or Brazil?A2) The USA.
Q3) 8th October, 1982, saw the Broadway debut of Cats. The musical’s based on a book by which American poet?A3) T. S. Eliot.
Q4) LBC, one of Britain’s first commercial radio stations, started broadcasting on 8th October, 1973. What does the ‘L’ stand for?A4) London.
Q5) Finally … two countries voted to leave Yugoslavia: on 8th October, 1991. Name either one.
Here’s an observation …
“One of the things I discovered in Japan was from watching sumo wrestling. At the end you can never tell who has won the fight, and who has lost, because they do not show their emotion because it could embarrass the loser. It is unbelievable. That is why I try to teach my team politeness. It is only here in England that everybody pokes their tongue out when they win.”Arsene Wenger.
And a video …
Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.
Have a nice day.
* Tough call, that, Olga! I think CeX offered you that price as it’s not a hugely well known DVD: that … and the fact the collectors market will always offer better prices. They’re currently selling it for £12, so you know. It’s ALSO shown up on YouTube … It’s a bit of a speciality one that’s appeal to someone doing research, or to movie buffs. Plus they get a good markup. Either way? I’m glad I’m not moving out of the country: storing everything would cost a fortune: and I’ve not got that much! Keeping it’s a toss-up, though: DVD’s is a dying form …

You might want to check You Tube videos for exercising. There are tonnes and it is what I do for exercise these days, as I stopped going to the gym (I also go for walks). There are some that are pretty intense but there are many for beginners and there are quite a few walking workouts (apart from walking they normally move around, arms, legs in other ways). There are some that include easier and harder versions. I follow quite a few channels on You Tube and share plenty of workouts. And I also have a pinterest board with workouts...

Any news about the job? (Perhaps I've missed the comment)
The conference was great! I'm so glad I went.
I love that expression! Arse over tit, indeed! At least I didn't fall down an escalator or nearly break my neck in a bathtub! :) Just lost a bit of coffee, which is mildly tragic.
