House of Cards — Series 6: Episode 4/Chapter 69 — The Review

5th January, 2019.

Yes, yes, OK …

Sue me already: I’v got Kraftwerk’s Tour de France on in the background.

I like the odd bit Düsseldorf school, German electronica!

And, although I haven’t actually yawned on the video?

I am decidedly rushed, at the moment.

Because … ?

I’m actually feeling like I want an early night …

But wanted to let you know I’ve seen another episode of series six, of House of Cards …

~≈§≈~

Episode 4 — Chapter 69 — sees President Claire Underwood (Robin Wright) attending the funeral of former Secretary of State, Cathy Durrant (Jayne Atkinson.)

To find the funeral is also being attended by President Petrov of Russia (Lars Mikkelsen) who has a deal he wants to propose …

You can tell there’s going to be scheming, can’t you … ?

Now … you’ll forgive me for rushing somewhat: I actually want to try and get a comparatively early night.

But the fact I feel rushed and tired … ?

Actually, now I think about it?

This particular episode seems to be … not rushed, not tired, but mildly disjointed: nor does it seem to be advancing the overall story arc forward, merely trying to get everyone to interact with each other.

It seem less cohesive, in that sense, than episode 3.

We’ll have to see if the next episode’s an improvement …
