Right …
It’s a Wednesday: with — as you might have guessed — nothing to do.
Well … bar my knee exercises, this morning.
And possibly a little shopping: I’m thinking a chilli might just be the thing.
Shoving mince, red onions, peppers, kidney beans, chopped tomatoes, mushrooms, chilli peppers, and possibly some celery and carrots, into a lot of stock will give me something to do.
Assuming I’ve got some rice to go with it!
We’ll see.
Let’s move on, shall we?
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga*, Mum† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with Olga and Debbi scoring five out of five, and Mum on four.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.
The quizmaster’s decisions about scores are final.
Thank you for coming: have a good day.
* Thankfully, Olga, the meeting went off by phone: for which I’m grateful. But I’ll be keeping hold of the pdf’s I did. Strikes me those would be useful! My case worker’s also said she’d like to do an in person meeting, at some point. Hopefully, I’ve persuaded her doing it in Brentwood would be a good idea.
Going by what you’ve said? That’s probably why we got a lot of skateboarders in Brentwood High Street’s one small shopping centre. It’s flat, there’s a hard floor, and — even if there’s no furniture at the moment — it’s an interesting S shape: boarders can slalom they’re way through it. Oh, and jump up and down the ramps and furniture in the park out the back of the place: there’s one for wheelchair users outside Brentwood Library! And it’s nice to know there’s a few female members, too: that always helps, I think.
Jude’s hopefully over on Thursday: I think he’s got plans for another video. In theory, his Playstation can screen captures games. It’s working out how to do that, then save them onto a USB stick, and what kind of USB stick we need, that’s proving tough. (USB 1.0, USB 1.1, USB 2.0, USB 3.0, USB 3.1, USB 3.1 Gen 1, USB 3.1 Gen 2, USB4, AAAAAAAARGHGHGHGH!)
† Hello, Mum.
‡ What can I tell you, Debbi? Apart from the fact knob throwing’s on a par with Cheese rolling. Only with less broken limbs. OK, I grant you it’s really posh Double Gloucester, but even so … !
Actually, Haggis is OK … with gravy. Just don’t tell anyone Scottish I said that! If I’ve understood it? It’s usually considered best, without gravy. British gravy. I know American gravy’s different: this Quora question is proof of that … !

Q3) Shillling
Q4) Idi Amin
Q5) The Cranes (I would love it if they were called the caganers, but...)
Yes, it sounds like skaters would love it there as well. Fingers crossed about the next meeting, and you have a challenge in your hands with the video, but I'm sure you'll manage.
I know what you mean about haggis. I tried the standard one once, many years back (before I stopped eating meat-related products), but I tried the vegetarian one later on. It is a bit dry, as far as I remember, so I can see your point.

Well, someone doesn't like biscuits and gravy, I guess. :)
I've never had it. We stuck with curries and fish & chips! Yum! :)
