10th February, 2023.
Right … it’s Friday.
A day that comes complete with fish, chips, vegetables …
Oh, an episode of Dr Who.
I’m on to the last episode of classic Dr Who series, The Crusade.
That’s possibly going to be a long one: I want to try and cover the box-set it’s part of, too.
Let’s move on, shall we?
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga*, Mum† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with everyone scoring five out of five.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?
Q1) 10th February is the Feast of Saint Paul’s Shipwreck. Where: Malta, Sicily or Corsica?Q2) President Eisenhower warned against US intervention: on 10th February, 1954. Intervention, where: Vietnam, Korea or Taiwan?Q3) The Twenty-fifth Amendment to the US Constitution was ratified on 10th February, 1967. By which US state?Q4) Lon Chaney Jr was born on 10th February, 1906. He played Larry Talbot in which 1941 film: The Wild Man of Borneo, The Wolf Man or A Woman’s Face?Q5) Finally … ? 10th February, 1941, saw the birth of director, Michael Apted. What was the name of the only James Bond film he directed: Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough or Die Another Day?
Here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …

Here’s a thought …
“The trouble with most of the monster pictures today is that they go after horror for horror’s sake. There’s no motivation for how monsters behave. There’s too much of that science-fiction baloney.”Lon Chaney Jr, February 10, 1906 – July 12, 1973.
And a song …
Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.
Decisions about scores are final.
Thank you for coming: have a good day.
* The meeting went well enough, Olga: apparently, I’m eligible for bariatric surgery. Which is worrying, but something! Have a good day!
† Hello, Mum!
‡ It took a while to evolve, though, Debbi! (The Behind the Sofa watch-alongs are quite revealing! Bonnie Langford and Sophie Aldred are quite a team!)

Keep me posted. A friend of mine (I'm seeing her this afternoon, as her daughter, my goddaughter, is having some of her photos exhibited and I will cover it for the radio) had bariatric surgery and she did lose a fair amount of weight, although it is a complicated recovery and she has had other issues since.
I'll bet!
