15th February, 2023.
Right … I now, officially, have a box!
With a chair in it!
It’s an early birthday gift: and one I plan to assemble … when I get the chance.
It’s going to be a fiddly job, I think!

I mentioned, yesterday, that my blu-ray drive was having issues.
But, ever since the macOS 13.2 update, it was happily connected to my Mac … but not showing up.
It seems a few others had been getting the issue: and were reporting it on various sites.
Fortunately for me — and, I suspect, anyone else with a Pioneer optical drive — the problem was fixed: by installing the macOS 13.2.1 update.
I suspect the amount of complaints would have got Apple moving to patch the flaw, fast: there’s possibly a lot of customers — movie companies, included — using Mac systems to make preview blu-rays, if nothing else.
Here’s hoping it doesn’t happen, again.
Let’s move on, shall we?
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Mum*, Olga†, and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with Olga and Debbi scoring five out of five, and Mum on four.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here’s a thought …
“There are few states, I suppose, which exact so severe a toll from one’s nervous system as the anticipation of calamity.”From The Insidious Dr. Fu Manchu by Sax Rohmer, 15 February 1883 to 1 June 1959.
And a song …
Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.
Decisions about scores are final.
Thank you for coming: have a good day.
* Hello, Mum! (Ain’t No Pleasing You was in 1982, Mum … !)
† It got here on time, Olga^, Now I’ve got to figure out assembling the blessed thing! (Thankfully? The software update seems to have solved things. Phew!)
Apparently, fluoxetine’s technical name is N-methyl-3-phenyl-3-[4-(trifluoromethyl)phenoxy]propan-1-amine. I’m just glad they picked a pronounceable brand name!
‡ Yeah: the future does that to me, too, Debbi^: every time Jude turns up! (Cheers, by the way: it’s on March 4th.)
^ Oh, I’ve had a Radio Four show called More or Less, on. They’ve had the editor of the FT’s Style Guide on. Apparently, the FT’s changed their rules: to insist that ‘data,’ is singular.

Yes, their choice of names is... I understand chemical names will be complicated, but I remember I always thought "Abilify" was not a very nice name, as if the people taking it weren't able...
Good luck with putting the chair together. Doing it by yourself can be tricky, as I know all too well.
That's right. You're a March baby. Like Bill was. :)
