29th April, 2023.
Yes: OK …
Since I got The cost of Living payment, earlier this month?
Most of it’s gone.
There’s a chunk of it on my gas and electricity meters.
Some’s been spent on shopping.
A few quid on … some comics!
And … ?
Some teatowels!
Frankly, the ones I have either need a wash … or a decent funeral!
Let’s move on, shall we?
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga*, Mum† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with everyone scoring five out of five.

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.
Decisions about scores are final.
Thank you for coming: have a good day.
* Apparently, Olga, el Risitas had a very distinctly laugh: I can see what the Guardian meant about it!
It is sad: Mary Shelley could’ve been a whole different person, that’s for sure! (I hope it rained: we’ve been hearing about the weather! Please stay hydrated!)
† Hello, Mum!
‡ I know what you mean, Debbi, I know what you mean! (I’ve just seen a price for a Dredd series called The Day The Law Died. And can I find a copy of an old Starlord strip ‘TimeQuake’? Nope! Fascinating series, ‘Timequake’ …)

Yes, he did have a very peculiar laugh. No luck with the rain, so far, although it is supposed to rain tomorrow. It is not as hot here as in other parts of the country. There is a bit of a breeze, and although it feels hot when you are under the sun, it can get a bit chilly otherwise.
I know what you mean about teatowels. We also have to buy some, and we recently bought some towels, because they were getting a bit tired as well.
Just the name sounds interesting. "Timequake!" :)
