Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 23rd February 2026.

23rd February, 2026.

Right … it’s Monday.

So?

You’ve possibly realised that I’m off to my weight management class, off shopping, off bill paying: which you’d realised, if you’d read yesterday’s Teaser!

On top of that … ?

I’ve got a few bits coming from Amazon.

Something I suspect I may have to sign for: as it includes a leatherworking knife I’m going to use to repair my favourite waistcoat.

Or, at least, cut some leather cord I need to repair my favourite waistcoat.

At any rate, I think I’m going to be in Brentwood High Street for a while.

And my legs will end up, aching!

A few days ago, the old Dr Who TV movie was made available for pre-order: on Amazon, and other sites.

In glorious 4k, I should add.

That could be a wise purchase, I think.

It’s also a wise move.

I think transferring as much to the higher definition format is a good move: especially as there’s only so much that’s been made available in that resolution.

One Peter Capaldi story, and the Peter Cushing movies, thus far.

So the TV movie is a welcome addition …

Let’s move on.

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Mum*, Olga† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with everyone scoring five out of five.

Here’s a thought …
“Don’t get excited.   Obstacles make a better picture.”
Director, Victor Fleming, February 23, 1889 – January 6, 1949.
And Debbie Friedman’s performance of a traditional song …

The next three ten question sets are on the 27th and 28th of February, and 1st of March: they’re about Pokémon, Andalusia and Nebraska.

Your comments, and today’s answers, will be published in tomorrow’s Teaser.

AI is avoided when writing these questions.

Answers are as accurate as possible: at the time of writing.

Decisions about scores are final.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

*        Hello, Mum!

It’s sound like you had a good weekend, Olga: bar the back pain.   That’s always awkward, isn’t it?   I can only hope it clears up, quickly!
Say ‘Hi’ to Jordi for me, please!

‡        I’m guessing, here, Debbi: but I imagine ‘Botch’ is putting it mildly!   But if it’s any help, Alan Cumming’s been in Dr Who, a couple of times … !
