Do you remember me writing — yesterday — that the clocks going forward always put me out … ?

It does that.

So did something, last night.

Would you believe it, my bed collapsed.

My bed … collapsed … !

The bed has a cross bar under the headboard and foot: that also hold and lock a third crossbar that holds the board the mattress sits on in place.

Basically, the cross bar under the headboard has collapsed: meaning that my head was a lot nearer the floor than my feet.

Lord knows how THAT’S happened.

I mean, it’s not as if my head’s THAT fat … !
