The Daily Teaser — 5-6-2012

You know, I’ve got to confess, I am feeling decidedly unwell.

I think I’m coming down with whatever it was that affected my kidneys, a couple of weeks ago.

Possibly … !

I do know that, as I write, bits of me are definitely twanging, let’s put it that way.

I don’t think it help that, on Sunday night, I really couldn’t get a wink of sleep.

Which meant that yesterday — helping my mother shop for the Jubilee Tea she’s got planned for today — I felt god awful: knackered, assorted aches, BAD temper fuelled by lack of sleep, kidney’s twanging, and a head that though exploding in the middle of Sainsburys was a potentially good idea … !

To the point where I got a seriously early night!

At least if nothing else … ?   I know someone else wasn’t having too good a Monday, either …

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Debbi putting in her answers: and, along with managing THAT post, and admitting her and the family had seen The Caine Mutiny and 12 Angry Men*, also managed to score 5 out of 5.

Let’s see how she — and you — do with today’s questions, shall we?   Here they are, along with the ‘How To’, License and video …

Enjoy those.

Now, as it’s Psychedelic Furs frontman, Richard Butler’s birthday, I’ll leave you with this tune …

Oh … And as Eduard Khil, the Trololol Guy, sadly died, yesterday … ?

I’ll leave you with the YouTube clip that made him famousº …

*       You know, Debbi, I think that’s another pair of films to put on my bucket list!   I keep hearing good things about both of them: and I know Tony Hancock, back in the day, did his own slant on 12 Angry Men … !

ª        I think it’ll be a long time before this blog sees songs that are THAT different, gracing its pages, again.   On the OTHER hand … !

Thanks for including my post. We really had a great time, and it was hard to say goodbye and go back to work, you know? Even when you love your work, it's tough sometimes.

But I'm a blue collar writer, so that's how it goes. :)

And I found out some good news for indie authors about Kobo today. :)
