31st August, 2023: Kyrgyzstan.
Right … it’s Thursday … and I’m mildly annoyed!
Sainsbury’s didn’t have the milk I was after, yesterday.
It’s no big deal: I can always go back, today.
I just hope Sainbury’s deliveries have turned up!
~≈¥≈~
Did I mention I on benefits?
I possibly have.
I’m also — after a lengthy application process, reconsideration and appeal! — classed as having a Limited Capability for Work.
Which doesn’t get me much in the way of extra financial help: but does mean I’m supposed to have a meeting with a case worker, once every three months.
I was classed as LCW in March, after a tribunal.
And still haven’t heard a thing.
From what I’m told?
There’s some sort of back log.
Right now, six months or so after the tribunal?
I’ve heard nothing about a meeting.
I can’t complain too much: it avoids having to walk up Queens Road, after all.
But … ?
It means I’m left without guidance: as, I suspect, are many others.
Let’s move on, shall we?
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Mum*, Olga† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with everyone scoring five out of five.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?
Q1) 31st August is Independence Day in Kyrgyzstan. Marking its independence from where: the USSR, USA, China or the UK?Q2) Kyrgyzstan’s independence was in which year of the 1990s?Q3) True or false: Kyrgyzstan is landlocked. True or false?Q4) You’ll find.kg

Here’s a motto …
“Kyrgyzstan is bordered by Kazakhstan to the north, Uzbekistan to the west, Tajikistan to the south, and China to the east and southeast.”From the Wikipedia entry on Kyrgyzstan.
And a song …
Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.
Decisions about scores are final.
Thank you for coming: have a good day.
* Hello, Mum!
† Cheers for letting me know, Olga: it’s appreciated! Mum usually does the quiz on her phone, if that’s any help: but it always depends on time, of course.
‡ Moscow, Schmoscow, Debbi! :D At ANY rate … ? Did I mention Ruth’s thinking of buying Jude a computer. Obviously I’ve mentioned she could get a business or educational discount on sensible computers.
(The Airs look good: but I’d need a few hubs to connect everything.)

Thanks, Paul. My main problem with doing anything much on the phone, is that I've had trouble before trying to leave comments, etc., so I don't tend to bother, because logging on and off every site is a pain. It is a bit too fiddly for me, to be honest. I prefer to use the laptop for those kinds of things. Yes, I'm a dinosaur, I know.
I hope you get some guidance soon, but delays are the name of the game these days.
