Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 3-4-2019: Marlon

3rd April, 2019.

Yes …

It’s officially official …

macOS Mojave 10.14.4 is now available for users to install.

I have to admit, I’ve been expecting that: ever since the big show and tell at the end of March.

It’s all to the good …

Although, frankly?

I’m hoping the update doesn’t through iMovie out, even further.

~≈§≈~

Can I make a mild confession … ?

I actually watched a TV show, last night: that I didn’t actually fancy reviewing.

Frankly?

I felt some thing of a break, there was in order.

And that the documentary concerned, The Yorkshire Ripper Files: A Very British Crime Story, wasn’t something I’d usually cover.

And I managed to binge watch all three episodes … at an hour a piece.

That said … ?

That said, the thing was …

Was a fascinating watch: nicely summing up the terror one man managed to inflict on the UK.

The terror … AND the attitudes of the time … AND the behaviour of the police.

The mix of incompetence, bad practise, and inappropriate technology … ?

Made worse by the fact the man leading the investigation was convinced THAT tape was genuine?

Well …

~≈§≈~

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Badwolf*, and Debbi† putting in their answers: with both scoring five out of five.

The day also saw Olga‡, looking in to say ‘hello.’

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s themed questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video …

Q1) Marlon Brando was born on 3rd April.   In which year?
Q2) He learnt a lot of his acting craft from which New York based actress?
Q3) That actress based much of her teaching on the work of which Russian … ?
Q4) 1944 saw Marlon appear on Broadway: in a play called I Rememberwho?
Q5) In 1947, Marlon appeared in the stage version of A Streetcar Named Desire.   Who wrote A Streetcar Named Desire?

Q9) Marlon plays Colonel Kurtz in which Francis Ford Coppola film?
Q10) Finally … ?   Marlon was due to play Lewis Medlock, in Deliverance.   Who eventually played the character?
Here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …

Here’s a thought …
“An actor’s a guy, who if you ain’t talking about him, ain’t listening.”
Marlon Brando.
And a song … named after a Brando movie.

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Have a good day.

*        Morning, Badwolf!

†        That’s debatable, Debbi!   I know it’s on a network!   I think it’s going to be one of THOSE arguments … !   (Sorry about The length, again, Debbi … !)

‡        Whenever you’re ready, Olga!   (Which reminds me, I’ve still got series three to watch … !)

I finally made it! Although I'll be away later in the month, a great quiz to come back to.
I'm intrigued about the Jack the Ripper series, although I wonder when it might get here. Don't forget series 3!
