Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 7-7-2024 — The Solomon Islands

7th July, 2024: Solomon Islands.

Right then, it’s Sunday!

A day for … well … not a lot, actually.

Bar recovering from late night reviewing.

Yes: I finally caught up with Dune: Part Two, on Thursday.

And posted my written and video reviews, last night.

Pleasingly … ?

I’ve even managed to get a comment, already!

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Mum* and Debbi† putting in their answers: with both scoring five out of five.

The day also saw Olga‡ leaving us a message: here.

From the Wikipedia entry on the country.
A song …

And an earworm¶ …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Decisions about scores are final.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

*        Hello, Mum!

†        I’ll have to keep my eyes open for that one, Debbi.   Once I’ve recovered from Dune: Part Two … !

OK: we’ll catch you when we catch you, Olga: don’t work too hard!

§        I hope I’m using those brackets correctly!

¶        Tiny Tim’s version of that song has been giving people the creeps, ever since it was used in Insidious!

I've been out with my mother this morning, and that means we had to get up quite early, and tomorrow the class with Jordi is a bit earlier than usual. In the afternoon I have to go to the radio station (I normally don't go on Monday afternoons because of the sports guys and gals, but because the local football leagues are over, there isn't a sports programme as such (they are all students, so they are on holiday in any case), so we'll get it done tomorrow. At least Pau, the editor, will edit one of the piece of news , so I hope it won't take that long.
Have a good day and catch up on some rest.
