Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 15-4-2019: The Big M.

15th April, 2019.

It’s official: I’m going to be looking after my nephew, this afternoon.

I think the pair of us are looking forward to it: he’s just video phoned me to say so.

Bless!

Either way … ?

It should be fun … so long as we can find stuff to do.

~≈§≈~

Oh, while you’re there … ?

I’ve just seen this piece flat past past on the Today programme.

Seemingly?

The TSB bank has announced that it will refund any of its customers who’ve been victims of online fraud.

Frankly?

I like it.

It’s going to cost them a fortune, I think.

AND they’ll need to be their eyes open for those trying to milk the system.

But … ?

It’ll be wonderful for customers.

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Badwolf*, Olga†, and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with all three scoring five out of five.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video …

Here’s a thought …
“One of the reasons that the elites loathe places like McDonald’s, or Walmart, or Target, or any of these places that cater to Everyman—and you might suppose that the champions of the workers and peasants would love these places—is precisely their capacity to rob the rich of their distinctive social markers. One day it was a sign of class and distinction to drink a latte; the next day, every construction worker is doing it.”
It’s A Jetsons World: Private Miracles and Public Crimes., Jeffrey A. Tucker.
And a tune por two …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Have a good day.

*        Morning, Badwolf!

†        Oh, I know why they’re there, Olga.   And can’t object on that basis.   It’s just the invasiveness of the things that gets my goat.   But, yes: I’d LOVE to hear what they tell me.   (Carrots you say … ?   Hmmm … )

‡        I have to say, Debbi: the best version of Bad Moon Rising I heard was by a busker on Tottenham Court Road station.

I wonder, indeed. Because the camera is inside of their store, I guess it's the same as the other cameras they use, but not sure. Let's see. Have you watched, "The Founder" about Ray Kroc and McDonalds? I found it fascinating. Rather than a Kroc he seems to have been something of a crook, but hey...
