Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 2-4-2019: International Children’s Book Day

2nd April, 2019.

Yes: I’m going into town, today.

And registering with a local temp agency: who say they have something local for me.

OK: I get the impression that the job concerned really is temporary.

But could be something to add to the CV.

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Badwolf*, and Debbi† putting in their answers: with Debbi scoring ten out of ten, and Badwolf on nine..

Here’s a thought …
“In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun. You find the fun and ‘snap’, the job’s a game.”
From Mary Poppins by P. L. Travers.
And a song …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Have a good day.

*        Morning, Badwolf!   Keep the eyes peeled in-between here and Halloween, you never know what’ll turn up.

†        My pleasure, Debbi!   (The trouble with Netflix, Amazon Video, AppleTV+, et al … ?   Is no-one knows WHAT to call them, bar broadcasters.   Certainly not the BAFTAS.)

Hi, Paul:
I was planning on participating in the quiz today but I ended up spending too much time researching a story for the radio and finishing the correction of a translation, so it will be tomorrow, hopefully.
I want to give it the time it deserves.
I hope everything is well and I'll catch up tomorrow.
