Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 2-5-2023 — World Tuna Day.

2nd May, 2023: World Tuna Day.

Right …

It’s Tuesday: which means that — possibly — excitement, adventure, and really wild things will turn up.

Ot, at least, some post.

I’m still expecting one last graphic novel … and a drainer.

My current one’s a mess!

~≈ß≈~

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga*, Mum† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with everyone scoring five out of five.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video.

Q1)        2nd May is World Tuna Day.   Tuna is a what: fish, octopus or squid?

Q2)        Do tuna live in saltwater or fresh water?

Q3)        How many species of tuna are there: thirteen, fourteen or fifteen?

Q4)        Several species of tuna are served as sushi.   In which Asian nation’s cuisine: Japan’s, China’s or Vietnam’s?

Q5)        Finally … ?   Many tuna fishermen try to make sure tuna fishing is what friendly: dolphin friendly, whale friendly or fox friendly?
Here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …

Q1)        1st May is the first day of May.   How many days are there in May?
A1)        Thirty-one. (31)

Q2)        The Eta Aquariids appear in May.   What is or are the Eta Aquariids: comets, a meteor shower or a black hole?
A2)        A meteor shower.

Q3)        May is which month of the year: the fourth, fifth or sixth?
A3)        The fifth.

Q4)        In Roman Catholicism, May is dedicated to who: Jesus, Mary, Joseph or the Pope?
A4)        Mary.

Q5)        Finally … ?   May is said to be named after Maia.   Maia is a goddess from Ancient where: Greece, Roman or Egypt?
A5)        Greece.
Here’s a thought …
“But, regardless of the market exceptionalities caused by the pandemic, we cannot ignore that, for a long time, this product has been a victim of its nutritional success.”
From the UN page on World Tuna Day.
And a song …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Decisions about scores are final.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

*        Jordi Cruz, Olga?   Is he Catalan, by any chance?   It strikes me the names popular thereabouts.   But I’m not surprised about Bill Gates.   You know I don’t like the PC mouse?   The fiddling about you need to do to use it left handedly is a bit too much.   From what little I know, its design is down to Gates … who is also left handed!   😒
At any rate … ?   It sounds like someone had a good day.   I hope the same goes for today: Happy Birthday!

        Hello, Mum!   See you later!

It does make an impression, doesn’t it, Debbi?   Apparently, the sculptor that made the robots is/was quite well known.   And Godley and Creme — who directed the video — did the promos for ‘Cry’ and ‘Two Tribes’.

Just so I know I’ve reminded people?

Tomorrow’s set is a ten question monster about the Godfather, himself: James Brown.

Thanks, Paul. And yes, Jordi Cruz is Catalan, indeed.
I hope you get everything you're expecting today. I have to meet with the rest of the jury tomorrow to come up with a list of winners for the school literary award, but it is pretty nearby, and I hope there won't be lengthy discussions, although you never know, it may be fun. In any case, everything going well, I should be able to join the teaser, if nothing else comes up.
