9th April, 2024.
It’s official: it’s Tuesday.
And I’ll possibly turn the radio off, at some point.
There’s only so much of the Today programme a body can deal with!
At any rate … ?
I — hopefully — will be looking after my nephew, this afternoon.
If I know Jude … ?
There’s a possibility of chicken nuggets: and further adventures of Mikey the rabbit!
Let’s move on, shall we?
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga*, Mum† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with Olga and Debbi scoring five out of five, and Mum on four.
The day also saw Trevor§ leaving us a message.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here’s a thought …
“My father was a slave, and my people died to build this country, and I am going to stay here, and have a part of it just like you. And no Fascist-minded people will drive me from it. Is that clear?”Paul Robeson, 9 April 1898 – 23 January 1976.
And a song …
And an earworm¶ …
Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.
Decisions about scores are final.
Thank you for coming: have a good day.
* I can see how that song would be divisive, Olga: it’s a bit of a Marmite song! The thing that got me? Was the singer’s facial expression. She definitely seemed a bit constipated! I still think Slo Mo — the Spanish entry the year the Ukraine won? — was the best song, that year!
Do you mean Nebulossa, Olga? Now she’s going for the Rocky Horror market! And I’ve just seen the giant lips in the background! I think she owes Richard O’Brien a big thank you!
† Hello, Mum!
‡ That he has, Debbi! And Ben Whishaw’s version of Q? Was great. Mind you, I always have this thing about wizards! (That scene from Skyfall is superb!)
§ Sorry, Trevor, I though I’d put that comment through!
¶ The song’s supposed to sound African. Given the band’s from Wiltshire? It’s as African as I am …

Flamenco is a bit of a marmite thing, I agree. As I said, I'm not a fan, and although they seem to feel it deeply, it is like the Easter processions and parades there... Not my cup of tea (not that I drink tea, either... I guess tea is not my cup of tea!)
I hope you have fun with your nephew. ♥
