Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 4-10-2019: Unity Day

4th November, 2019.

Right …

It’s interview day.

I’ve got an official interview, at a restaurant in Brentwood High Street.

I’m …

Well, I’ve got flat shirts: that’s no problem.

I’ve got trousers.   Shoes have at least been wiped.

Clean socks and undies are available.

About my only issue … ?

Is my head: I’ve got a little part of my head telling me not to go … !

~≈†≈~

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga*, and Debbi† putting in their answers: with all three scoring five out of five.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video …

Q1) 4th November is Unity Day in Russia.   It makes the uprising against invading troops: in which year?
Q2) Uprising — and troops — were in the Russian capital.   What is the Russian capital?

Q4) The modern version of Unity Day was instituted in 2005, by which Russia President: Vladimir Putin, Dmitry Medvedev or Boris Yeltsin?
Q5) Finally?   That first Unity Day was attended by Russia’s (then) most senior churchman, Alexy 2nd.   He was the what of Moscow and All Russia: Pope, Cardinal or Patriarch?
Here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …

Q9) The pipes were operated by which company: Centrica, BP or Questerre?
A9) BP.
Q10) Finally?   The pipeline was threatened by the Tartan … what?
A10) The Tartan Army.
Here’s a thought …
“Nobody and nothing will stop Russia on the road to strengthening democracy and ensuring human rights and freedoms.”
Vladimir Putin.
And a song …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Have a good day.

*        Cheers, Olga!   He did 3, 2, 1?   I can remember 3, 2, 1!   I think it was Britain’s biggest game show at the time!   Who Want’s toe Be A Millionaire would’ve have stood a chance!   (I’m going to have to sit down with another horror film, as well, I think.   Once I’ve got Edge of Darkness out of the way.   I’ve just seen episode two: Bob Peck’s done a job and a half on with these two episodes ….  And there’s a strange Chinese sci-fi film called The Wandering Earth that looks interesting …)

†        Oooh, I don’t know about that, Debbi!   Brexit’s got this nasty habit of turning up where you least expect it.   Wouldn’t surprise me if Brazil want’s to leave the EU, too … !   Oh, JUST as a thought … ?   Russell T. Davies was on Desert Island Discs, this week …

Yes, I thought you might remember 3,2,1 (here it was called 1,2,3 but it makes perfect sense it would be the other way round there...). It was very popular for a number of years. I don't know if his movies or his series will be available in English but... I've heard interesting things about that Chinese series. Keep us posted! Oh, and if you decide to go for the interview, good luck. (It's always good to have an option, and you might get a better sense of what the place is like...)
