Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 8th December, 2021.

8th December, 2021.

Yes: it’s officially official: I had a hygienist appointment planned for today.

Which has been cancelled.

And re-arranged for January.

Quite what happened, there, I don’t know.

At any rate … ?

I’ve got a phone interview, this afternoon.

No dentist trip … ?   Takes a little bit of pressure off.

~≈Ç≈~

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga*, Mum† and Debbi^ putting in their answers: with Olga and Debbi scoring ten out of ten, and Mum on five.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Jim Morrison, December 8, 1943 – July 3, 1971.
And a song …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

The quizmaster’s decisions about scores are final.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

*        Hello, Mum!

Yeah: I knew there was a connection to Baron De la Warr, Olga.   But sometimes, it’s handy to have a hair splitter of a question!   Bexhill in Sussex, you mean?   I don’t know much about the place.   Except that Spike Milligan was stationed there, briefly, during the war.   Oh, the the Pavilion’s now a modern art museum …
Nice to know you should be able to get a place, regardless of the email situation.   I suspect there’s a reason it’s down: AWS, the Amazon cloud service, is down.   So if Sants’ email domain is on there …

Hello, DEBBI!   :D   ’Fraud not, Debbi: it’s actually named after a river … which was named after a baron.   Just not this one^ …

^        Actually?   Baron Harkonnen’s been calmed down quite a bit: the film version’s not presented as the rampant paedophile he is in the novel.

Not heard back since my last e-mail, but the radio station is not going back to normal until tomorrow as today is another bank holiday, so it might be that.
That appointment with the hygienist seems ill-fated. Good luck with the interview!
