It’s Friday, 22nd April: and the day before what’s normally payday.
The day, in other words, when my benefits are due.
Except? I usually get them a day early: as pay day, this month, is a Saturday.
Basically? I get the chance to pay my bills.
Yay … he says …
Let’s move on, shall we?
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga*, Mum† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with everyone scoring five out of five.

A national anthem …
And possibly the only other song we could have …
Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.
The quizmaster’s decisions about scores are final.
Thank you for coming: have a good day.
* It was short, Olga: which always helps!
And yeah: I can imagine most Muslim nations are frantic, around now. The fast lasts from sunrise to sunset, as I recall. I had a sneaky Chinese takeaway, the other night: the old Church opposite it is now Brentwood’s only mosque. The owner was telling me they’ve been getting really busy after dark, the past couple of weeks!
Which reminds me, I’ll have to see if World Book Night’s still going their giveaways! It’s been ages since I’ve looked them up! Wish the Sant £ gang a Happy Sant Jordi’s day for me! And Wish Little Anna well!
† Hello, Mum!
‡ Morrison and co could always knock out a tune, Debbi. Did you ever hear The Wasp, from LA Woman? It’s a stinker of a tune! (Trust me, you haven’t seen the Sidemen in action … !)

Oh, the forecast for tomorrow is terrible, so it seems most of the official things organised have been either postponed or cancelled, including the radio programme, I think, although I'm waiting to hear directly from them. We're having problem with the water heater, so it is all a bit trying at the moment. Stay well.
