28th April, 2022.
Right … it’s Thursday: which means I’m expecting my nephew over, at some point.
But also the day after I’ve managed to finished a review!
If you want to know what I thought of The Batman?
You can!
I just hope it makes sense!
Let’s move on, shall we?
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga*, Mum†, and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with everyone scoring five out of five.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

In which year of the 1940s?Q2) His first novel was released in 1971, and called The Carpet what: People, Pixies or Pineapples?Q3) Terry interviewed Bill Gates in 1995. Here’s a thought …
“His father was right about one thing, at least, when he’d said that lies could run around the world before the truth could get its boots on.”The Truth, Terry Pratchett.
And a video …
Or two …
Terry Pratchett: Choosing To Die from Charlie Russell on Vimeo.
Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.
The quizmaster’s decisions about scores are final.
Thank you for coming: have a good day.
* I think he’s picked a winner, here, Olga: he’s possibly one of the better performers in it. Robert Pattinson, Batman, himself, is just a touch wooden.
That’s very true: weather does have that effect, doesn’t it? If it’s ANY help, south west London’s looking better than is was, yesterday.
† Hello, Mum!
‡ Oh, that it is, Debbi! Oh, can you let me know if that second video, Choosing too Die, shows up, please? (It’s worth a watch: and is seriously powerful!)

Yes, we shall see. The boiler is playing up again, so we've called the guy again. Let's see. Whatever it is, it seems to be an intermittent fault, but it is really annoying (I love to have a shower in the morning, and it is not a good way to start the day when that goes wrong).
Oh, I saw your question. The second video wouldn't show for me. It said something about privacy settings and going to VIMEO. Tomorrow evening I'm going to watch the play with the doctor I told you about. I don't think I'll have enough time, but you never know, I might mention Sir Terry...

Yes, it does. It's sobering to realize Pratchett was less than 10 years older than me. :)
His death was a great loss.
