* Hello, Mum§!
† Albergínia Vincent is obviously Aubergine Vincent’s kid sister, Olga§! I’m going to apologise about the aubergine in a skirt: my imagination got away with me!!
At any rate … ? I’ve lost half a kilo: just over a pound. That’s something to be pleased with!
Albergínia Vincent! |
‡ Oh, the Bowie video would, Debbi§: I don’t know how much his video has to do with the movie, though! It’s a bit like a UK equivalent to Grease: I get the impression the film didn’t go down too well. (Eddie Temple has a minor part: and did well off it.)
Nice to know thee therapy’s going well: I’ll keep my fingers crossed!
§ Just so everyone’s reminded? Both tomorrow and Thursday are ten-question sets: about Staffordshire and David Beckham.

Good news on the half kilo loss. Now just to keep it going. Like the aubergine on a skirt. Here it's a day off tomorrow, although my cousin will come by in the afternoon for a bit. And Thursday, I have a meeting with the rest of the members of the jury to talk about the short story competition and agree in the winners. Then, on the 10th, we have the award ceremony.
Mmm. I shall have to limber up my digits. :)
1. Vietnam
2. Cumberland
3. Louis 14th
4. corpse (Like that episode of the original Star Trek, "Balance of Terror" -- okay, maybe not quite)
5. Iran
Can you make the answers short? :)
BTW, congrats on losing that kilo!
I know it's a struggle.
Hang in there!
