5th April, 2024.
Right … it’s officially Friday.
And … ?
I’m reading up various bits and bobs: on how to install a version of macOS onto an external drive.
As my main drive is slowly running out of space.
I have a good idea of how to do it: but need to download the installer to do so.
Given how the App Store works?
It means the installer will be downloaded to my main drive: the one that hasn’t got the space … !
Added to that … ?
Is the simple fact I have to got to town, today: to pick up a sharps bin.
In the rain.
Ho … bloody … hum …
Let’s move on, shall we?
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga† Mum‡, and Debbi§ putting in their answers: with Olga and Debbi scoring ten out of ten, and Mum on eight.
The day also saw Trevor¶ leaving us a message.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

“God is conscience. He is even the atheism of the atheist.”From “God is all things to all men”, by Mahatma Gandhi.
And a song …
Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.
Decisions about scores are final.
Thank you for coming: have a good day.
* Let me know if you do, Olga! :D (I don’t know if you HAVE read it … but it’s an interesting one: one that was influential for Orwell’s 1984.)
† Hello, Mum!
‡ I’ve tried to keep the answers short for that one, Debbi! Oh, talking of kicks …
§ Yes, I saw it, Trevor: it’s a fascinating thing! (As a thought for next time … ? You might want to open a picture in a new browser tab, and post the link to that: that always seems to work when I’m posting photos, here!)

Funnily enough, I was reading an article about what happens in the brain when somebody dies, and how even after oxygen is cut off, it seems some areas of the brain start firing much more than usual and much more than expected. Consciousness more than conscience, but I guess there isn't the one without the other.
Thinking about Conscientious objectors, I don't know if I ever told you that I had an English teacher, who was from the US, when I was 17 or so, who was rumoured to have left the States to avoid being sent to Vietnam. He never told us so himself, but that was the story doing the rounds. He was quite a character...
1 UN
2 2020
3 Free Vote
4 Objecter. Sally's Dad was one in WW2, he had to drive an Ambulance thro' London, so probably saw more action than some soldiers.
5 Wrong
