Yep: that’s me in the Introduction video: with Echo the White Faced African Owl, and Katness the Reticulated Python.

It was my nephew’s 8th Birthday Party, yesterday: although, strictly?   His birthday’s on Boxing Day.

Either way?

It was rather nice.

Hmmm … I’m not necessarily convinced he wasn’t bored: someone was running around in the street with his friends.

At any rate?

I got the snake and the owl … 

Jude got to play with both … 

AND the African Pygmy hedgehog …

Just as a quick point of news?

I voted Remain in 2016: as you may or may not know.

For plenty of reasons, I should add.

So a bit of breaking news caught my eye.

The European Court of Justice has officially decided that — should the UK decide to — it can revoke its Article 50 decision, its decision to leave the EU, without consulting other EU members.

I’d love it, personally: but don’t see it happening.

But?

Its nice to know the option’s not going to cause problems.

*        It always amazes me what I can do with a trick question, Olga!   And there were definite owls! Either way … ?   Yes, I noticed where Amelia’s from … I get the impression she’d be backing Catalan independence, too … !

†        Yes, I knew about the compiler, Debbi: she didn’t quite find it, though!   Her and her team found the first computer bug.   This was back when a ‘computer’ was a room full of electro-mechanical part: the moth got squashed on some of the gears.   Or frazzled on a valve.  Oh, enjoy the episode: there’s some annoying news.   (The New Years episode looks interesting … but WHAT’S THE CREATURE!)

I saw the owl! I went to a birds of prey sanctuary once, and they show birds in fly and allowed us to touch some of them (I had a little owl on my gloved hand), although they told us owls are difficult to train because their brain is quite small because so much space is taken by the eyes... What a disappointment! The albino hedgehog looks amazing, although easy to spot in nature...

Oh, yes! That's where the term "computer bug" came from. Doh! :)

And, yes, I saw Montreal, but thought you meant the first Y in the U.S. specifically. Tricky tricky! :)
