Amongst other things?
There’s possibly stuff I should, would or could mention.
I’ve seen episode five of Lovecraft Country: that’s one possible thing.
The other thing … ?
I had my usual fortnightly meeting with my Job Centre caseworker, yesterday: which went well enough. I’ve managed to arrange a video meeting for next time, avoiding an expensive bus fare, at the same time.
Yes: I know the Job Centre reimburses me. But that’s partly how I managed to argue my way into a video.
I didn’t want my case worker wasting public money!
The other thing I should mention … ?
I had a phone interview, yesterday afternoon.
Which went well.
At least … it went well enough that I have a video interview — via Microsoft Teams — next Tuesday.
Here’s hoping …

Let’s move on, shall we?
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga*, Mum† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with Olga, and Debbi scoring five out of five, and Mum on three.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?
Q1) 7th October, 1897, saw the birth of Elijah Muhammed. Here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …

Here’s a thought …
“Art in an abstract setting is one thing, but art where you’re actually telling people to do things becomes dangerous …”Amiri Baraka, October 7, 1934 – January 9, 2014.
And a song …
Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.
The quizmaster’s decisions about scores are final.
Thank you for coming: have a good day.
* I think TikTok and Instagram are the coming thing, Olga: I know more of my pictures are getting likes on the latter. Thanking you for yous, by the by! It sound’s like Sants version of a scavenger hunt did well!
That’s very true, there, about politicians. They really haven’t a clue. It’s … well, the less the better.
Except, of course, Boris proved the point, yesterday. He did his big conference speech, yesterday: and talked about bringing highly paid, highly skilled, jobs to the UK. Today? Intel have decided NOT to build a chip-making planting in the UK, as it’s left the EU.
We’ve shot ourselves in the foot, Olga: and Boris hasn’t even noticed …
Just as a final thought … ? The amount of times I heard Tony Blair described as a Red Tory … probably wouldn’t surprise you …
† Hello, Mum!
‡ Here’s hoping, Debbi^!
You know, I forgot about the body double! That’s like forgetting about Christopher Lee’s singing. or his drag routine! Or his heavy metal albums!

Q1) The Nation of Islam
Q2) Italy
Q3) The Taliban (Well... The least said about all this, the better)
Q4) Sudan
Q5) Winston Churchill
Not surprised at all about the Tony Blair accolade. Here, Felipe Gonzales, who was the socialist president for quite a while, seems to have turned more right-wing than the professed right-wing leaders. I always remember my father used to say that yes, he used to claim to talk for the working man, going around what they call here "en mangas de camisa" (so, just wearing a shirt and not a jacket on top, not a full suit), but that soon changed once he got into power. I'd much rather they didn't promise anything, because liars, I can't stand. (Give me an "honest" criminal or thief any day. At least you know where you stand!)
Good luck with Tuesday's interview!
