Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 3rd June, 2022

3rd June, 2022.

Right … it’s officially Friday.

Here in the UK?   That means it’s the second in a long weekend’s worth of Jubilee public holidays.

I’m …

Well done and good luck to Her Majesty.

But on a personal front.

It’s another day, job hunting and worrying about my health.

Oh, before I forget?

My nephew and I managed to put another video, together, yesterday: over pizza and chicken.

Feel free to hit Like, and share!

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga*, Mum† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with everyone scoring ten out of ten.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video.

Q1)        3rd June is Opium Suppression Movement Day.   Where: Taiwan, Japan or China?

Q2)        Singer, songwriter and bassist, Suzi Quatro, was born on 3rd June, 1950.   In which US state?

Here’s a thought …
“I’ve always maintained that you can be sexy with your clothes on.   Sexier maybe.”
Suzi Quatro, born 3rd June, 1950.
A song …

And a second song: that, as regular reader, Edith, reminded me, took place on the third of June.

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

The quizmaster’s decisions about scores are final.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

*        It was very good, Olga: really emotional!   It’s seem odd there’s no apparent online reference.
The homework’s going to take a while, I think: drafting a cover letter, and sending it to a potential employer.   Which is nice … if I can get past the employers login screen!   The other part is to sign up for a couple of courses: I’ve got that pencilled in for today.
That sounds like every staff meeting I’ve ever been to!   Still, now the world”s re-opening, things should start to move forward!
(We had fun alright.   I’ll tell you what, though, Olga, the price of pizza’s going up!   Ye gods!)

        Hello, Mum!

‡        Yeah, I thought they might’ve done, Debbi!   Oh, did I mention Desert Island Discs, Debbi?   Today’s episode featured David Harewood and made for fascinating listening.

Well, good luck with booking the courses. I'm going to try to organise some paperwork as well, although I might need to do some digging first.
Prices are horrendous everywhere. I had to laugh when they were talking yesterday about tourism and tourists coming back, and they said that they were spending more money. Well, of course! Everything is more expensive! They can't help it!

BTW, Rick isn't ignoring you. He's afraid he'll fail at finding the answers. I told him it was easy, but he just wasn't up to it. :)

He hates tests of any sort. Even ones that aren't graded. I'm blaming the nuns. :)
