Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 5th June, 2022.

5th June, 2022.

Yep: today is the official date of the Queen’s Platinum Pageant.

Which is possibly going to be exciting.

If you’re into pageants, obviously.

About the one thing I can say … ?

Is that a quick look out of the window tells me it’s raining.

I hope everyone’s got an umbrella.

Oh … just so you know … ?

I watched episode eleven of the fourth series of Star Trek DiscoveryRosetta — on Friday.

And posted my written and video reviews, last night.

Feel free to ignore the singing.

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Mum*, Olga† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with Olga and Debbi scoring five out of five, and Mum on four.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video.

Q1)        5th June is Constitution Day.   Where: Norway, Sweden or Denmark?

Q2)        5th June is Father’s Day.   Where: Norway, Sweden or Denmark?

Here’s a thought …
“The most expensive part of building is the mistakes.”
The Pillars of the Earth, by Ken Follett, born 5 June 1949.
And a song …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

The quizmaster’s decisions about scores are final.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

*        Hello, Mum!

Cheers for those, Olga: I’ll bookmark them for later.   Knowing a little more about SEO is always handy.   At the most, I’d possibly need a OC for the courses I have put in for: but I should be able to get funding for that: and be able to use it for any Google courses.
Is was a good one, wasn’t it?   Orwell’s always good for a quote or two.
Feel free to boo him next time you see him!
Oh, and JUST as a last thought … ?   The Queen’s been hanging around with movie stars, again!

I think booing politicians is a good idea, Debbi.   Just on general principles.   Remind me to tell you about a chap called John Prescott.   Or ‘Thumper,’ as they used to call him.
Now … did I mention Max Headroom’s thoughts about the US President … ?

Q1) Denmark

Q2) Denmark (a fatherly constitution or a constitutional father, what do you think?)

Q3) Devon

Q4) Sunday

Q5) Montenegro
Let's hope the courses are useful. And if you get to check the Google ones, let me know what you think. I started reading what they were about, and although, in theory, beginners could join, I thought, at least in my case, I would need to dedicate it many ours to make any sense out of it, more than I would like to, considering I don't think I'd get to make much use of it. The problem with many of these things is that unless you used them day in and day out, you're bound to have forgotten them by the time you need them, at least at my age, and end up having to check again. At the moment I've taken up so many languages, for one reason or another, that I have enough trouble trying to keep them straight and not all mixed up.
I can't remember if I told you that the mayor of Barcelona, Ada Colau, had quite a few experiences of getting booed last summer, when most of the neighbourhood and district big fetes and fairs take place. She usually attends and gives a speech, but she ended up crying at one of them. She quickly toughened up, though. (We were there when she came here, and there was some booing as well, although not so extreme).
I love Max Headroom!
