26th August, 2022.
Amazon can make a mistake or two, sometimes.
Not that I’m planning to say anything to them!
I usually order two 600g tubs of Marmite, every month.
With each tub lasting a fortnight, I’m usually happy.
This week … ? I’ve ordered two more tubs.
Which — theoretically — turned up yesterday.
Notice I say theoretically.
I think someone made a mistake, at their end.
What I ACTUALLY got … ?
Was two boxes of six tubs.
About six month’s worth.
I’ve got rid of some: but have to ask …
Would anyone like a tub* … … ?

The UK’s got an entry regulator: called Ofgem.
They set price caps on the cost of gas and electricity, every few months.
This time last year? The average bill was about £1000.
The raised caps Ofgem announced, today?
Means the average is now nearer £3549.
What that means for me … ?
Means I’m going to see more of my money being sunk into my fuel meters.
Marmite, aside … ?
Winter’s going to be tough.
Let’s move on, shall we?
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Mum†, Olga‡ and Debbi^ putting in their answers: with everyone scoring five out of five.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

And a song …
Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.
Decisions about scores are final.
Thank you for coming: have a good day.
* If anyone would like one of my fascinating array of empty Marmite tubs, they’d be welcome.
† Hello, Mum!
‡ I hope you’ve got a brolly, then, Olga! You might just need one! The rain we had, yesterday … ? Means my shoes are still drying out!
At any rate, we’ll see you when you’re in: have a very good time!
^ It’s worth a go, I know that, Debbi! I really have to sit down with The Untouchables, again, I know that.
And if memory serves? From what I read of Alien, Scott didn’t tell the cast — part from John Hurt — exactly what was going to happen in that scene. He wanted authentic reactions from them!

Sorry, but it's been a long day, and I haven't much brain left by now. In the end, it only rained yesterday night, but I was at home by then, and although today it was supposed to rain here, so far, it hasn't. It has rained a lot in other parts of Catalonia, and in Valencia, but in the city, not so much. I've heard that some of the street concerts had to be cancelled, although by now I think most people can do with a bit of rest. Only tomorrow left...
What a mistake with the Marmite... If they have only charged you for a couple... Mind you, I'm sure there is such a thing as too much Marmite, even for you.
The energy prices are incredible all over the place, and not only energy, everything. I have no idea how things will go, but the fat cows seem to be coming to an end.
OMG! Well, he sure got one from me. :) Ewww!
