Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 24th May, 2020.

24th May, 2020.

You know …

The UK — largely — is still under lockdown.

Although, from what I can see, it’s eased … a little

That hasn’t made much difference to me, as someone who’s job hunting.

I’m still waiting to have the normal meetings I’m scheduled to have, every fortnight.

As dull as they are?

As dull as they are, they get me out of the flat, and at least feeling as if I’m doing something …

Speed the day they restart!

~≈fl≈~

I have to admit, I tried watching a film, last night: 2019’s The Wretched.

But … ?

But it really didn’t hold my attention, however good it was.

You might enjoy it more: I don’t know if I did …

Thank you! Bookmarked! And good suggestion. At the moment I still don't know if I'll be working at a school or one-to-one, or online, or a bit of everything, so I'm gathering as many materials and as much info as possible. One never knows what can come handy!

So cool! Hope you can make the reading on Monday. It'll be premiering on YouTube at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time, so ... would that be 6:00 p.m. your time?

I can never remember the number of time zones between here and there! :)

1. Brexit
2. 1861
3. COVID-19 or coronavirus
4. Ramadan
5. Romani

I'm reading a crime novel by a UK-based author named Zoe Sharp that discusses the Romani people.

I think you'd like her books. She writes the Charlie Fox series and has endorsements from Lee Child, who may have heard of. :) He's a really nice guy, BTW!
