Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 29th November, 2023.

29th November, 2023.

Yes: that’s right.

It’s Wednesday.

The day after Tuesday: rather than the Addams Family’s eldest child.

At any rate … ?

It’s Wednesday, and I’m feeling just a bit tired.

Doing three reviews does mean I’m up late!

~≈Œ≈~

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga*, Mum† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with Olga and Mum scoring five out of five, and Debbi on four.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video.

Q1)        29th November is Liberation Day in Albania.   It marks the country’s liberation from whom: Falangist Spain, Fascist Italy or Nazi Germany?

Q2)        The county’s liberation took place in which year of the 1940s?

Q3)        29th November is William Tubman Day.   Mr Tubman was the longest serving president of which African nation?

Q4)        29th November is the feast of Saint Saturnin.   He’s the patron saint of where: Toulon, Toulouse or Tremblay-en-France?

Q5)        Finally … ?   29th November, 1958, saw the birth of bassist, Michael Dempsey.   He was an early member of which band: the Sex Pistols, the Stranglers or the Cure?

Here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …

Q1)        28th November is Bukovina Day.   It’s a public holiday, where: Romania, Hungary or Austria?
A1)        Romania.

Q2)        28th November is Republic Day.   Where: Chad, the Democratic Republic of the Congo or Egypt?
A2)        Chad.   (Wot, no monarchy?)

Q3)        President Roosevelt, Winston Churchill and Joseph Stalin all attended the Tehran Conference: on 28th November, 1943.   Tehran is in which country: Iran, Iraq or Israel?
A3)        Iran.

Q4)        28th November, 1994, saw which country vote to not join the EU: Sweden, Norway or Finland?
A4)        Norway.

Q5)        Finally … ?   28th November is the Feast of the Holy Sovereigns.   Sovereigns of where: Australia, Hawaii or Easter Island?
A5)        Hawaii.

Here’s a thought …
“I am surprised environment is not at the top of the agenda. What is more important than food and clean air?”
Don Cheadle, born November 29, 1964.
And a song …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Decisions about scores are final.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

*        You’re not wrong, there, Olga!   Having the basics guaranteed would be very useful!   I’m just grateful I get my meds — whatever I do get prescribed — for free.   The diabetes§ is good for that, at least!   Either way, wish your mother well for me, please: I hope you can get the needed stuff!
Thankfully — or possibly not! — Mikey the Rabbit stayed at home.   But Jude and I did manage to get a video of him, done!   (Mikey’s getting more comments than me!!!!!!!)

        Hello, Mum!

I know there’s been a few, Debbi¶!   Alan Moore — who’s, arguably, Britain’s best writer — works in the comic book industry near enough exclusively.   And always tries to distance himself from the movies versions of his work.
Oh … talking of bunnies …

§        Apparently, the Ozempic should become available in January, Olga: here’s hoping it does.   The only other option is insulin …

¶        Oh, I had Lift Us Where Suffering Cannot Reach on, again, Debbi: that episode is still spine chilling … !

Thanks, Pete. My mother doesn't pay her medication (although, at least at the moment, she isn't on anything too expensive, but that's because she's a pensioner in the lowest pension (although she worked all her life, some of the jobs didn't count towards anything, and widows only get half of their husband's pension, and my father's wasn't big either.
Do we know what Mikey the rabbit was thinking about? (I wouldn't dare to ask why he was shaking...)
