Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 18-12-2023 — International Migrants Day

18th December, 2023: International Migrants Day.

Right ... just for once ... ?

I've not got to get up early on a Monday morning.

Because?

Because my weight management class is cancelled: until the second Monday in January.

That's something I feel mixed about.

No: my weight's not being monitored.

Something I'm mildly anxious about: but can at least check, at home.

But, yes: it does mean I get an extra few hours sleep.

That's something to be thankful for.

As a brief thought ... ?

I've made a video: to thank people for the help they've given towards the iMac repair fund.

It's also an attempt at some sort of financial transparency.

To explain to everyone who's helped, what I'm planning to do with any excess, should the repair be both successful ... and I have any!

I'm planning to get extra back up: cloud and physical.

And insurance: I'd hate to do through this again!

But, as a last thought ... ?

I'll say it again, to those who've helped.

Thank you: you've been life savers!

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Mum*, Olga† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with Olga and Debbi scoring five out of five, and Mum on four.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

*        Hello, Mum!

I've had days like that, too, Olga: I end up sounding like ET!   *ET PHONE HOME* ... !
That she is, that she IS!   (Debbi's the longest serving continuous commenter on the blog, too.)
Ooh, say hi to Jordi for me!

Glad to be able to help, Debbi!   (That looks interesting, there.   Although the one I'd love to see back?   Harry Sullivan.   It's never going to happen, but still ... you can just see that "Steady on, old girl!" spiel of the character's playing well in The Sarah Jane Adventures.)

Thanks for the video, Paul. I hope something is left over as your plans are very sensible. I won't see Jordi again until January now, and he's going to be fairly busy with his goddaughters, but I'm sure they're looking forward to it.
