Right ... I'm hoping your Christmas is going well.
Or well enough that you don't need help!
I am truly grateful to everyone that's put in to the iMac repair fund: it's helped a lot.
And ... ?
There's a distinct possibility I may -- may -- be able to pick it up today.
I hope so.
My only problem?
I'm not too sure what the trains are doing, today.
I need to get to Shenfield and back: so not knowing?
Is inconvenient!

“Why does Santa Claus come down the chimney on Christmas Eve? Because it soots him.”
Christopher Walter.
Christopher Walter.
And the song that started the Truce …
There's also an obscure visual pun.
Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

* Oh, tell me about it, Olga. It possibly helps that Steve Wozniak -- the engineer that founded the company -- has come out in favour of the right to repair. Whether that helps? Is another matter!

Fingers crossed again that the laptop is repaired and the trains are running sufficiently for you to get there and back. I am sure there are more options here for public transport even during the holidays, but...
No Turkey for me this year. I earlier got a large duck out of the deep freeze to defrost for tomorrow, It comes complete with giblets which I will use to make a great gravey. Stick of sprouts outside in a bucket of water Some will be used tomorrow. May be 4 or 5 veggies and Roast potatoes. The chef knows how to cook and how to eat. May fall asleep in front of the telly after Doctor Who.
