5th May, 2024: The Council of Europe.
It’s official: it’s Sunday!
And … ?
Well, I had something of a late night: after looking after my nephew!
I think I want to go back to bed.
Let’s move on, shall we?
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Mum*, Olga† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with Olga and Debbi scoring five out of five and Mum on three.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here’s a thought …
“The Council of Europe [ … ] is an international organisation with the goal of upholding human rights, democracy and the rule of law in Europe.”From the Council’s Wikipedia entry¶.
And a song …
Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.
Decisions about scores are final.
Thank you for coming: have a good day.
* Hello, Mum! (Olga said ‘Happy Birthday’, Mum!)
† Cheers, Olga, I’ll pass that on! (We’ve got dinner planned, at Ruth’s!)
‡ New York? I’m staring at half a dozen funny lines, there, Debbi, but very aware I don’t want to offend the one New Yorker I know! ;)
Yes, we get Ghosts, Debbi§. Both the US remake … and the UK original. I’ve not seen the US version: but the UK one finished with a gorgeous, and touching, Christmas special, last year.
§ Just as points of trivia for you, Debbi? Charlotte Ritchie — who’s the main character in the UK version — played Lin in the Dr Who episode, ”Resolution”. And Geoffrey McGivern plays the creepy neighbour: you’ll know him as the original radio version of Ford Prefect.
Oh, and Kylie can see ghosts …
¶ I always worry if I’m using those square brackets, correctly!

OMG! I keep forgetting we got the idea for the series from you guys/folks/nice people over there! Uh ... thank you!
That reminds me. I happened to notice some channel had the thoroughly awful remake of The Prisoner in its lineup. The spirit of Patrick McGoohan must be fuming somewhere. :)
