*        Oh, lord, Incitatus!   That’s possibly one of Caligula’s better idea’s, Olga¶!

        As for Cute … ?   I’ll keep an eye peeled for it.   But I think it’s a case of art imitating nature.   There’s already robot companions aimed at the elderly: the first were Japanese, I think.   And strange ways of occupying the unemployed’s time get used in the pages of the Judge Dredd strip.   The main setting has a population of eight hundred million … ninety-eight percent of whom are unemployed, and have weird hobbies!

        It’s not too bad, now I’ve got everything set up, Olga: but I’ve had to reinstall Spotify, and start using Mail.app.   My copy of the Thunderbird email client didn’t survive the transition.

        It sounds like the fireworks were fun … !

‡        Yeah, I thought that might appeal, Debbi^ … !   😆

        I have to admit, I could never get the hang of TV dinners: there was never enough on the plate.   Which possibly tells you why I have weight issues!

        And you should see the squiggly red lines I get, Debbi.   Half the Wikipedia quotes I use are in American English: and I’m never sure of which spelling’s which.

§        The Human League’s song was written when Lebanon was deeply troubled.   It still is: at the time of writing, it had been hit by Israeli bombs … 

¶        Totally off the subject, Olga … you might want to see if there’s a Spanish language version of the Nemesis the Warlord strip available.   The art — by the late Kevin O’Neill — is eye-poppingly gothic.   I think I’ve mentioned the strip’s main villain was called Tomas de Torquemada …

^        I bought the Judge Dredd t-shirt, eventually, Debbi.   I’m willing to bet that someone won’t see the irony in the “Democracy Isn’t Working” slogan.   A DR and Quinch one may have been better!
