Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 5-10-2022— You Know My Name.

5th October, 2022.

Right …

12:30 is — possibly — D-day.

Or T-hour, what have you!

At any rate … ?

I’ve got an online interview: for a home working job.

Hopefully?

It’ll go well.

Here’s hoping!

Did I mention my nephew was over, on Monday?

My nephew, Jude, was over on Monday: a good long chat was had, pizza was had …

And another video made.

Would you mind liking and sharing?   Cheers!

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga*, Mum† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with Olga and Debbi scoring five out of five, and Mum on four.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video.

Q1)        5th October saw the release of the first James Bond movie.   What was it called: Dr No, Dr Who or Dr In the House?

Q2)        The film was released in which year of the 1960s?

Q3)        Bond was played by Sean Connery.   Who replaced him as Bond, in 1969’s On Her Majesty’s Secret Service: Ian Ogilvy, Roger Moore or George Lazenby?

Q4)        The Bond films were based on a series of novels.   By whom: John Le Carré, John Gresham or Ian Fleming?

Q5)        Finally … ?   In this first film, James Bond’s boss was played by Bernard Lee.   The character was known as what: L, M or N?
Here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …

Q1)        4th October, 1585, saw the birth of Anna of Tyrol.   She was what: Queen Consort of England, Holy Roman Empress or Empress of Japan?
A1)        Holy Roman Empress.

Q2)        Anneka Rice was born on 4th October, 1958.   Which Channel Four show did she co-present: The Crystal Maze, Treasure Hunt or Alan Carr’s Celebrity Ding Dong?
A2)        Treasure Hunt.

Q3)        4th October is the feast day of Saint Amun.   He’s also known as Saint Ammonius the what: Hermit, Ammonite or Cenobite?
A3)        Hermit.

Q4)        The Boys’ Brigade was founded on 4th October, 1883.   Its emblem consists of a red cross, with a golden what: anchor, crown or hand?
A4)        Anchor.

Q5)        Finally … ?   The Rome General Peace Accords were signed on 4th October, 1992.   It ended a civil war, where: Mauritius, Morocco or Mozambique?
A5)        Mozambique.
Here’s a quote …
“I admire your courage, Miss …?”
James Bond’s first line.
A clue …

A Chris Cornell tune …

And it wouldn’t be Bond if Q wasn’t around …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Decisions about scores are final.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

*        That’s tune’s a cracker, Olga: Nash did a good one, I think.   And, yes, before you ask: Jude had ANOTHER cheese and tomato pizza!   Oy!
Did I ever mention I worked at Pizza Hut, many years ago?   I think I did: the industrial dough mixer we had, had a number of attachments: including one for chopping vegetables.   Chopping the chilies meant wearing latex gloves, and goggles.   AND using a cover.
That sounds like he had one HELL of a library: which you have respect.   I knew about this politics — that cold dead hand speech is notorious — but Planet of the Apes, and Soylent Green, are superb films!

        Hello, Mum … !

I thought Rap might appeal, Debbi!   I have to admit, I can still remember seeing that scene in Bowling for Columbine.
Whilst we’re talking about Charlton?   Did you know there’s a company called Soylent doing the rounds?   They make protein shakes: including a green one that’s mint and chocolate flavoured … thankfully …

Yes, he's made some good movies, and he could carry some mighty roles, that's for sure.
You've probably mentioned the pizza-making place. It does sound quite a task! I visited an association whose members meet once a week to cook for elderly people, full menus, so they can take them home. The food is donated by the local market, and some supermarkets as well. The premises they use are lent by a local (and very good) bakery, and they are quite amazing. The kitchen is very well appointed, and there is a wood-burning oven in the patio I did think about pizzas...

Yes I saw a picture of Dame Shirley Bassey singing at the Royal Albert Hall on page 2 of today’s Daily Telegraph. She sang “Diamonds are forever” and “Goldfinger” to celebrate the anniversary of Dr No 60 years ago,
