Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 8th January 2023.

8th January, 2023.

Right … it’s Sunday.

Hopefully one that’ll be quiet: in the run up to a busy-ish few days.

Tests, baby sitting and stuff, in other words.

Right now … ?

Right now, though, I think I want to go back to bed: late night movie reviews are starting to take their toll.

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga*, Mum† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with Olga and Debbi scoring five out of five, and Mum on three.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video.

Q1)        8th January is the feast day of Saint Gudula.   She’s the patron saint of where: Antwerp, Brussels or Châtelet?

Q2)        8th January is Typing Day.   Where: Thailand, Singapore or Malaysia?

Q3)        8th January, 1935, saw the birth of Elvis Presley.   Where: Mississippi, Tennessee or Florida?

Q4)        In a referendum on 8th January, 1961, the people of France vote to make where, independent: Tunisia, Morocco or Algeria?

Q5)        Finally … ?   Monty Python member, Graham Chapman, was born: on 8th January, 1941.   Who did he play, in Monty Python’s Life of Brian?
Here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …

Q1)        7th January is Tricolour Day.   Where: France, Italy, Germany or Ireland?
A1)        Italy.

Q2)        7th January, 1970, saw the birth of politician, Andy Burnham.   He’s currently the mayor of where: Liverpool, Greater Manchester or Southern Matabele?

Here’s a thought …
“We don’t deliberately set out to offend.   Unless we feel it’s justified.   And in the case of certain well-known religions, it was justified.”
Graham Chapman, 8 January 1941 – 4 October 1989.
And a song …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Decisions about scores are final.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

*        I hope so, Olga.   I’ve now taken my cards down: so Christmas is definitely over!
Jordi’s got twin granddaughters?   Oh bless!   Give him my regards, please: and wish him luck.   He’s got double trouble!

Hello, Mum!   It was Italy and Wednesday, Mum: she’s in the new series.

That I will, Debbi!   (Oh, I caught Nope, the other night.   I get the impression Jordan Peele’s a Kubrick fan.   There were intertitles, everywhere!)

Oh, yes, double trouble, indeed. I wished them good luck when I saw them last. I guess it might be worse if it were two boys, but still, not all girls are quiet.
I hope you have some time to recover today.
