El Ministerio del Tiempo/The Ministry of Time — Series 3: Episode 10 — Refugiados por el tiempo/Refugees through time — A Review

7th June, 2019

Yep: I THINK my Spanish is improving.

I know think I’ve learnt how to pronounce ‘Hello’ in Spanish.

Which, when you think about it … ?

Possibly isn’t an achievement.

At least … for anyone who speaks Spanish, isn’t an achievement …

I’m burbling, aren’t I … ?

It’s Friday.

It’s a Friday that’s seen my saddened by the death of musician, Dr John.

But also in the happy position of booking up a ticket: for an interview next Tuesday.

The first in a while …

Here’s hoping …

Burbling aside … ?

Burbling aside, I have to admit to having not much to do, tonight.

Apart, of course, from watching my current favourite TV show: El Ministerio del Tiempo/The Ministry of Time
.

The third series, as you’re asking.

And yes … it’s looking good … !

Episode 10 — Refugiados por el tiempo/Refugees through time — sees Alonso and Pacino (Nacho Fresneda, Hugo Silva) in the South America of 1828.

Being rescued by a firing squad by none other than Simón Bolívar, himself.

It’s lucky he does.

Unbeknown to the Liberator, the Sons of Padilla are planing to kill the man who freed South America.

Back in the now … ?

Back in the now, the Ministry has its own problems.

For starters?

Hundreds of Morisco refugees have turned up in Madrid.

Led by one of the Exterminating Angels: who, unknown to the refugees, AND the Ministry?

Is also a suicide bomber, tasked with the Ministry’s destruction.

It’s a great time for the auditors to turn up …

It’s …

Can I make a confession, here?

Why, I don’t know: but I am knackered!

Lord knows what’s going on, there.

But, right now … ?

I’m seriously wanting to hit the sack.

Before I do, though?

I will emphasise this: Salvador (Jaime Blanch) has figured out Bosco (Luis Iglesia) is not who he seems.

I think the next few episodes?

Are going to be interesting …
