19th June, 2019.
Right … it’s officially official: I’m going to be looking after my nephew, this afternoon.
Which should be fun.
Although, frankly?
I’m going to have to see if we can’t watch something else on Youtube.
I don’t know about you, there’s only some much Slogoman and Jelly a body can take … !
Which reminds me …
I’ll have to ask Ruth — Jude’s mother/my youngest sister — if we can connect her phone to my Mac.
We had trouble getting a video off of it: despite the fact Huawei’s connection software seemed to install itself.
Hmmm …

Let’s move on, shall we?
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Anne*, Olga†, and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with all three scoring five out of five.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?
Q1) Which oil rich state declared independence: on 19th June, 1961?
Q2) The last occupying Soviet troops left where: on 19th June, 1991?
Q3) 19th June, 1921, saw the birth of actor, Louis Jourdan. In which 1983 film did he play Kamal Khan?
Q4) 19th June, 1954, saw the birth of actress, Kathleen Turner. In which film does she voice Jessica Rabbit?
Q5) Finally … ? The original Nicene Creed was presented: on 19th June, AD325. It says that Christians believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the … what?
Here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …
Q1) 18th June, 1927, saw the birth of actor, Paul Eddington. In which series did he play Jerry Leadbetter?
A1) The Good Life.
Q2) 18th June, 1941, saw the birth of cook, Delia Smith. She’s a shareholder in her favourite football team. Which football team?
A2) Norwich City FC.
Q3) 18th June, 1965, saw the UK government introduce a blood alcohol limit for whom: ship’s captains, pilots or drivers?
A3) Drivers.
Q4) The body of banker, Roberto Calvi, was discovered: on 18th June, 1982. Under which bridge?
A4) Blackfriars Bridge.
Q5) Finally … ? The first flight of the F-117 Nighthawk took place on 18th June, 1981. It was the first plane with what technology?
A5) Stealth technologyº.
Here’s a thought …
“No, I don’t look like I did 30 years ago. Get over it.”
Kathleen Turner, born 19th June, 1954.
And a song …
Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.
Have a good day.
* Very good point about Daenerys, Anne. But, if nothing else? She got to the throne before anyone else. And no-one else is going to sit on it, afterwards. I do know there’s a prequel planned: it’s started filming, already … !
† You know, I don’t know if they can do the tests inside, Olga^. It would STILL leave me an issue of getting there and back! Either way, I think I need to talk to my doctor about it, to see what’s what.
‡ Cheers, Debbiª, that’ll give me some space! And good luck with it! I have to admit, I read the Keith Moon Wikipedia entry. Apparently? When they filmed Tommy, Oliver Reed matched Keith Moon, pint for pint for pint. Keith was wrecked by the morning. Reed was unaffected. I’d love to see the state of their livers … !
^ Olga, I seem to recall reading somewhere, that a sedative can disrupt sleep almost as much as too much alcohol. I remember Anthony Hopkins saying when he was interviewed about his drinking: that his sleep patterns had improved, because he was falling asleep, rather than becoming unconscious. I’ve not drunk, myself, for about 18 years: and knew exactly where he was coming from.
ª The other thing I read in that article, Debbi? Was that one of their tours only made about three hundred pounds, over all, in modern money. A lot went down Keith Moon’s neck. An even BIGGER chunk got paid in insurance claims … … … … … … … … …
º I can remember that — during the early 1980s — there was a lot of talk in the US: about triangular UFOs. Then the US government publicly unveiled this weird looking aircraft. That’s that one explained …

Oh, yes, sleeping tablets affect the sleep architecture. Alcohol can make people fall asleep quickly but then they wake up early because sleep doesn't go through the normal phases and there isn't much REM sleep. It seems that it can also increase sleep apnea.
Keep me posted on what the doctor tells you. And enjoy the evening with your nephew.
I can just imagine. :) Not to mention all those wrecked hotel rooms.
