Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 9th June, 2021.

9th June, 2021.

Yes: I’ve got an earworm!

Frankie Goes To Hollywood’s Krisco Kisses.

Why … ?

Well, I don’t know: if I could work that out?   I’d be rich … !

~≈Ë≈~

At any rate … ?

I managed a trip to Romford, yesterday: to trade in a box set at the Romford branch of CeX.

And managed to get a good price for the thing.

Frankly?

That’s all to the good.

Anything that reduces the total cost of ownership is helpful.

Feel free to share today’s video Teaser.

*        Oh, that’s so true: Wikipedia’s a boon for pub quiz masters, Olga, but can be a bane as well!   Its user interface is better than the Britannica’s.   At least I think so!
Oh … so it’s the size of a Coffin hotel … ?   Sorry, I picked up the term from Neuromancer!

†        I’m glad to hear it, Edith!   Oh, did I mention today’s earworm?   It’s an old Frankie Goes To Hollywood tune: on the same album as Relax and Two Tribes.

‡        I can still remember Diana’s death, Mum … !

^        I’ve heard of it, Debbi, but not watched it.   It’s funny you should mention it, though: Kate Winslet was on the Today programme, yesterday morning, talking about the accent!

Good name! It's not quite as small as a coffin... but I wouldn't call it roomy. You can't really go wandering around. You can stand up and sit down, and if you want to climb down from the upstairs bunk, and you need to open the ladder (because it folds into the wall), then the person downstairs has to stay in bed as they get trapped in. A place you need to maneuver around. Definitely not for large sizes. Or very tall either!

Now, that is interesting.

I don't think I'd want to attempt a Geordie accent. Not in public, anyway. :)
