Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 10th July, 2022.

10th July, 2022.

Yes: it’s officially Sunday.

And … ?

I get the feeling it’s going to be both quiet: and hot.

After an especially warm day, yesterday.

It’s going to be toasty!

Oh, just in case you’re interested?

I caught Assimilation — the third episode of Star Trek Picard’s second series — on Friday.

And got my reviews done, last night.

It’s a great little thriller of a series: one with great performances.

Especially from Annie Wersching as a Borg Queen in full on Hannibal Lector mode!

The series is seriously worth a go!

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga*, Mum† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with everyone scoring five out of five.

Here’s a thought …
“No religion is genuine unless it be joined with truth.”
John Calvin, 10 July 1509 – 27 May 1564.
And a song …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

The quizmaster’s decisions about scores are final.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

*        Yes: I knew about Boy A, Olga^: and keep meaning to catch it.   I’ve not seen Garfield in much: but do like his version of Spiderman.   He seems to catch the character’s cockiness very well.
Ooooh … but motorbike accidents can be nasty!   Give your cousin my regards, please: he sounds like he had a lucky escape!

        Hello, Mum!

I certainly hope Trevor was joking, Debbi!   I’d hate to see the bloody idiot in charge, over here!
Good luck with those scripts: they sound like they could be interesting!   Did you know the Romans did graffiti?

^        I don’t know if you caught Spider-Man: No Way Home, recently, Olga: but Garfield and Tobey Maguire reprise ‘their’ version of the character: along side Tom Holland’s.   It’s a fun film!

Thanks, Paul. I don't think I've caught up with that one yet, but I'll keep my eyes open for it. I hope it doesn't get too hot there. It's boiling here!

My scripts have been getting pretty interesting. Especially now with web series being a "thing". :) Not to mention scripted podcasts. It's like radio, only streaming.

1. the Bahamas
2. electricity
3. 1962
4. a Volkswagen Beetle
5. Sicily
