†        Oh, very true, Olga, very true!   Time, though … ?   It’s always the issue … 

‡        Oh, Cheers, Trevor: it’s amazing how the various counties have changed, over the years.   Whatever happened to Rutland?   (Oh, The Death of Halpin Frayser is definitely a ghost story: going by the Wikipedia entry.   Although I got the impression Bierce did some war stories.)

^        That it is, Debbi.   I think what gets me about Bella’s death — in particular — was that we’d not seen her for some times.   She’d been in and out of hospital, at the wrongest times!
